D.L. Browne is the Owner and Head Coach of Gulf Coast Tide, bringing extensive experience from a distinguished career in baseball. He played collegiate baseball at Messiah University and has since coached with premier travel organizations, including 5 Star, FTB, Canes Baseball, and various local travel teams. His expertise has guided over 25 players to the collegiate baseball level. Currently, he serves as the Head Coach at Admiral Farragut Academy, where he continues to inspire and develop aspiring athletes. Coach Browne is dedicated to coaching and personally training players of all ages, from middle school to high school and across Division 1, 2, and 3 levels.

Nick specializes in strategic pitching staff management with a strong emphasis on game preparation, pitch sequencing, mechanical consistency, and—above all—arm care. His coaching philosophy blends traditional baseball fundamentals with modern analytics, helping players understand not just how to pitch, but why it works. By combining data-driven insight with a deep respect for the game’s core principles, Nick builds well-rounded, resilient pitchers ready to succeed at the next level.

Torrey brings years of playing experience, including travel ball and varsity baseball across Florida, South Carolina, and Connecticut. A varsity starter throughout high school and team captain his junior year, he went on to play three years of college baseball at the University of Hartford and Springfield College, along with three seasons
Torrey brings years of playing experience, including travel ball and varsity baseball across Florida, South Carolina, and Connecticut. A varsity starter throughout high school and team captain his junior year, he went on to play three years of college baseball at the University of Hartford and Springfield College, along with three seasons of collegiate summer baseball.
Torrey also brings a strong coaching background, currently serving an Assistant Coach at Admiral Farragut and previously working baseball and softball camps and helping run the D-BAT Cheshire facility in Connecticut, where he served as camp coordinator in 2024 and 2025. Specializing in catching, hitting, and infield, with pitching and outfield experience as well, Torrey’s passion for player development makes him a great addition to the Tide family.

Coach Mitch Walker brings a strong background as both a player and coach. A standout collegiate hitter, he posted a .415 career batting average with 231 hits over three seasons. He earned NJCAA First Team All-America honors at Cumberland County College and later hit .444 at Rowan University, earning All-NJAC and All-Region recognition. H
