Owner, Head Coach 

D.L. Browne is the Owner and Head Coach of Gulf Coast Tide, bringing extensive experience from a distinguished career in baseball. He played collegiate baseball at Messiah University and has since coached with premier travel organizations, including 5 Star, FTB, Canes Baseball, and various local travel teams. His expertise has guided over 25 players to the collegiate baseball level. Currently, he serves as the Head Coach at Admiral Farragut Academy, where he continues to inspire and develop aspiring athletes.  Coach Browne is dedicated to coaching and personally training players of all ages, from middle school to high school and across Division 1, 2, and 3 levels.

Jeremy brings an outstanding playing background and high-level experience to our program. After signing with Bethune-Cookman University out of high school, he made an immediate impact, earning MEAC Rookie of the Week in his first collegiate start while serving as a Sunday starter during his freshman season.

Jeremy brings an outstanding playing background and high-level experience to our program. After signing with Bethune-Cookman University out of high school, he made an immediate impact, earning MEAC Rookie of the Week in his first collegiate start while serving as a Sunday starter during his freshman season.

Jeremy later continued his career at St. Petersburg College, where he became a weekend starter and earned Pitcher of the Year honors. He then signed with Valdosta State University, where he gained experience in multiple roles on the mound, pitching as a starter, reliever, and closer.

During his collegiate career, Jeremy also competed in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League with the Worcester Bravehearts, where he helped the team win a league championship.

Jeremy’s experience at every level of pitching—starter, bullpen arm, and closer—gives our players a unique opportunity to learn the mental approach, preparation, and competitiveness needed to succeed on the mound.

 Strength and Conditioning

Kyle Crawford serves as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Gulf Coast Tide and is the Director of Sports Performance at Pinellas Barbell Strength & Conditioning. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from St. Bonaventure University in Exercise Physiology and Human Development and is certified through the ISSA-CSCS. A

Kyle Crawford serves as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Gulf Coast Tide and is the Director of Sports Performance at Pinellas Barbell Strength & Conditioning. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from St. Bonaventure University in Exercise Physiology and Human Development and is certified through the ISSA-CSCS. A former Division I hockey player, Crawford brings a strong foundation in athletic performance, combining scientific principles with practical experience to develop well-rounded athletes.

Throughout his career, Coach Crawford has worked with athletes across multiple levels, including Division I baseball and softball programs, high school football teams, and youth sports organizations. His coaching experience includes developing high-performing athletes such as an NCAA Men’s Lacrosse National Champion and Player of the Year, three NCAA All-Americans, two Ivy League Players of the Year, and an NBA First Round Draft Pick. His approach emphasizes strength, speed, durability, and long-term athletic development, helping athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Nick Croteau is a former collegiate pitcher for Nichols College and brings over a decade of coaching experience across multiple high school programs in Massachusetts and Florida. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Coach and Pitching Coach for The Canterbury School.

Nick Croteau is a former collegiate pitcher for Nichols College and brings over a decade of coaching experience across multiple high school programs in Massachusetts and Florida. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Coach and Pitching Coach for The Canterbury School. 

Nick specializes in strategic pitching staff management with a strong emphasis on game preparation, pitch sequencing, mechanical consistency, and—above all—arm care. His coaching philosophy blends traditional baseball fundamentals with modern analytics, helping players understand not just how to pitch, but why it works. By combining data-driven insight with a deep respect for the game’s core principles, Nick builds well-rounded, resilient pitchers ready to succeed at the next level.

Torrey brings years of playing experience, including travel ball and varsity baseball across Florida, South Carolina, and Connecticut. A varsity starter throughout high school and team captain his junior year, he went on to play three years of college baseball at the University of Hartf

Torrey brings years of playing experience, including travel ball and varsity baseball across Florida, South Carolina, and Connecticut. A varsity starter throughout high school and team captain his junior year, he went on to play three years of college baseball at the University of Hartford and Springfield College, along with three seasons of collegiate summer baseball.

Torrey also brings a strong coaching background, currently serving an Assistant Coach at Admiral Farragut and previously working baseball and softball camps and helping run the D-BAT Cheshire facility in Connecticut, where he served as camp coordinator in 2024 and 2025. Specializing in catching, hitting, and infield, with pitching and outfield experience as well, Torrey’s passion for player development makes him a great addition to the Tide family.

Coach Rivera brings a strong background in player development and will focus on working with our catchers and hitters.

As a St. Pete/Clearwater travel ball alum and a 4-year varsity starter at Osceola High School, Coach Rivera currently serves as the Assistant Coach at Keswick Christian School in St. Petersburg, FL. His experience, knowledge, and passion for the game serves as a tremendous asset to our athletes.

He earned NJCAA First Team All-America honors at Cumberland County College and later hit .444 at Rowan University, earni

 Coach Mitch Walker brings a strong background as both a player and coach. A standout collegiate hitter, he posted a .415 career batting average with 231 hits over three seasons. He also accepted a Division I scholarship to North Carolina Central.

Mitch has also coached with elite travel programs, including Tri-State Arsenal and the Mid-Atlantic Show in New Jersey, helping develop top-tier talent across the region.
